   The vertical wood was only used in that way as I had used all my scrap wood and did not have enough to "bread and butter"/layer. The top /gunwale layer was normally a wider piece, incidentally, most of my boats have bulkheads just at bow & stern and the rest being frames. Take a look at this Tug I made again just scrap wood but layered. The scale is 1/32 @ 46"x 11" The twin homemade Kort nozzles give out a huge amount of power, 6 or 12 volts. The only downside with my construction ways is lots of elbow grease needed for the sanding. Insides are fiberglassed but just with the resin only. Around 50 LEDs are used on the tug, some bright and some slightly toned-down using resistors. As with my other boats, I saw a photo of a tug which I liked, obtained the bow,stern and side photos plus L x B and worked from there.

   I was looking at your construction photos. I really like the vertical playing, as opposed to the typical linear planking. It does appear to use left over pieces of wood.
   
   Do you add pieces to the outside edges of the bulkheads for widen them NBC to attach the plates?

   Thank you, out of "My Fleet" she is the favourite. 99% of her is from my shed with very little purchased, (piano wire, propeller) The prop shaft is remnants of a car aerial. Here she is in a very early raw state, I just could not throw away scrap wood. The superstructure is a thin plastic sheet of which I like using.
