Glue

I like Titebond best for woodwork but last time I wanted glue, the shop only had Gorilla. I must say I haven't had any problems with it, but if anything, I think the Titebond works quicker. For other purposes I use the Bond Together, two part epoxy from Poundland which works very well and is somewhat cheaper than other varieties.

Glue

I use Titebond 2 for all wood to wood applications, it's an aliphatic glue, which bonds very quickly, very strong when fully set and is waterproof. For all other metal to wood bonding I use a 30 minute epoxy resin.
