Thank you for that complement.
Altho this is a plastic kit I will do my best to make it interesting.
I now have a few small thing's in mind that i hope to do to make this a little bit different but not to change the main look of the Submarine.

Take it from me Martin. Your build logs never bore. They are always fascinating and full of good building tips. I look forward to my next Martin lesson.😃

Hi Guys,
WOW!! what a Birthday/Christmas surprise that was.

As I am someone that just about scrapes by on a pension you could imagine my surprise when i received such a kit.
I think i am still in shock!
This kit has just been a dream for me and i know i would never ever be able to get one unless i won the lottery.
In the past i have scratch built a lot of my models using whatever i could lay my hands on, So making a proper kit is going to be fantastic i can't wait to make a start on it.
I will have to think about how to do this assembly log as the last thing i want to do is bore everyone with things like " glue this bit to that bit and then attach it to"
So i think it will have to be more of a progress report than a build log.

You lucky boy Martin....a beautiful model kit, would be a shame to r/c it, looks much better as a static display sub, hope you will do a build log, would love to see that, as there's no way I can afford this kit!!!😐

A great gift, enjoy the build, and post lots of images as you go.

U boat has to be one of my favourites, on a side note, I recently acquired the 1/72 Skipjack....will be set up for RC. Christmas present to myself.

Who's a lucky boy then??😊😊😊😊 Keep us posted on the assembly. Thinking of 'punking' it by any chance😂?, perhaps making a lizardarium complete with foliage and sun lamps for a conversation piece? 😂😂😂

Hi Guys,
I had a really fantastic surprise yesterday morning.
My family came to visit and i was given this massive box for my Birthday/Christmas prescient.

When I opened it my jaw hit the floor, it is a model that I have wanted for some years.
I have seen many excellent examples of it completed by some very skilful model makers.
I know that it is not a radio controlled model and that it is a very large static assembly plastic kit. (see link)
I was toying with the idea of doing an assembly update log if you guys are interested.
