A very sad Cheynes II shipwreck lies on a sandbank in Princess Royal Harbour near Albany's former quarantine station.
Arty photo taken about five years ago on one of the local camera clubs photo walks Col

Great shots Col!
Here's the Cheynes lV at the museum. Built for speed I reckon. She's an aggressive looking sort. Historical, not "dark" I might add.

Ten Ks down the road is a couple of ex whaleling Stations .
Photos where taken around years ago at the time Cheynes Station closed ( A Sunday day out )
Yes in far distant past I have made a model of one of the chasers ,

Of the three chasers one is the star of WhaleWorld another is just over the harbour from where I live , for some time it was down at the town jetty a group of investors where fitting it out as a restaurant the on one dark 'n stormy night it ended up over on the other side of the harbour and the and over the years it has just rotted away The last one was sold I recall it may have ended up in South Africa Col
