jumpugly Amity is one of the local landmarks I drive past it every day on my way into Albany. It looks so real in every way . Don't be fooled the Amity on Princess Royal Harbour wasn't the Amity built in Canada but a replica built by locals in 1976 Col
The other Albany landmark is 'Dog Rock' LOL

That is a some fine video of wooden ship building Jump. Ships continue to be built in Bath, Me on the Kennebec River. The Bath Iron Works division of General Dynamics builds US naval vessels, primarily the Arleigh Burke class Aiegis destroyers.
BTW, treenails ( fasteners) is pronounced “ trunnels”.

A very very interesting set of photographs of the good old days. The sheer size of some of those boats is frightening as all the tools used would be very basic. Thanks Jump, very much appreciated.
Gary Steam Marine, the only way to go.

Outstanding Vintage Ship Photo Compilation

This is wonderful if you're a wooden ship fanatic. A 19th Century photo compilation from a shipyard on the Kennebec River in Bath Maine. Absolutely outstanding. note: There are a few Ai enhanced photos, but it doesn't detract from the overall presentation.
