Legacy of the Lakes Boat Museum Opening Day - Model Boats in the Century Boat Gallery
Here are the Model Boats displayed in the 100th Anniversay Century Tribute Gallery.
The Thunderbolt and 12" Sea Maid are mine.
The 1:4 Scale Sea Maid was entirely scratch built over a period of 4 years. It was completed in 1996, and still looks as good today as the day he finished it!

So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.
